At Springwell Lincolnshire, we understand the vital role that a healthy, balanced diet plays in a student’s ability to learn and thrive. That’s why we are committed to providing delicious and nutritious meals every day, ensuring our students are energised and ready for the afternoon ahead.
Our academy meals are an important part of the school day, providing a time for students to refuel, socialise with peers, and develop positive eating habits in a calm and supportive environment.
We believe in the importance of a nourishing start to the day. All our students are offered a free nurturing breakfast, which typically includes options like toast , bagels or cereals, along with milk or sugar-free squash. A healthy snack is also provided during the morning break.
Daily Lunch Service
Hot, freshly prepared meals are available for all students every day, as well as a selection of cold meal options. Our menus are carefully planned to be nutritionally balanced and cater to a variety of tastes. There is always a vegetarian option available, and we can accommodate special dietary requirements and allergies. Please ensure you inform us of any specific dietary needs your child has upon admission.

Packed Lunches
Students are welcome to bring a packed lunch from home if they prefer. We encourage parents and carers to support our healthy eating ethos by providing a balanced meal. Please do not include energy drinks, fizzy drinks, or large packs of sweets in packed lunches as these are not permitted in the Academy.
Free School Meals
A significant number of our students are eligible for Free School Meals. We strongly encourage all eligible families to apply. This not only provides your child with a free, healthy meal every day but also brings vital extra funding to the academy to support your child’s education.
